"I can't believe it!" Derek Reed growled, almost ready to punch his boss. "I'm the damn best tracker in this entire pack, but you put me on baby sitting duty!"
He felt it, that urge to just give in. He felt that familiar tugging sensation at the bottom of his stomach, the one that felt that everything in his entire soul just wanted to break free and let loose. He felt the rage, rage so destructive that a simple mistake could mean a million consequences.
Daniella Sanders cleared her throat. "Uh... you're growing fur!"
Instantly the urge disappeared. It fizzled out, like a fire that's just been put out. In it's place was disbelief. Derek flung the folder that was given to him like a frisbee back to his boss. "You put me on baby sitting duty to a girl who doesn't even know that she's a Luna?"
His boss nodded. "Deal with it."

Derek Reed is not a people person. In fact, he's not even a full fledged person. He's a Luna: one of the sacred breeds of Werewolves, destined for a greater purpose. With a tragic past and complicated façade, it's no wonder no one wants to be friends with him. Except for her.
Daniella Sanders is an ordinary college student, hell-bent on finishing her degree so she can get a good job and yada yada. However, that all changes when she comes home for spring break to find out that her entire family... is dead. She would have been too, if it weren't for Derek, who was sent out to find her, the last Luna of the West Coast.
The wolves within the both of them are incompatible; the West Coast Luna's and the East Coast Luna's are forbidden to mate. But deep down, they both know that they are willing to fight tradition. They're just not ready to admit it yet.
A genetically unique but emotionally lost teenager must figure out who she is within her mixed-up, warring world of Shifters and Wolfstalkers.

It wasn't Maddie's choice to be born a half-breed, half Shifter, half Wolfstalker -- a hunter of Shifters -- and it wasn't her choice to keep her identity a secret. But after trying to attend high school like any normal sixteen-year-old, things quickly spiral south when her Stalker uncle finds out about her and catapults her out of anonymity and into the awareness--or possibly the crosshairs--of The Order of the Wolfstalker. Maddie must think fast and figure out a way to keep herself and her family safe, or risk losing everything. Including her life.
