"A painter should begin every canvas with a wash of black, because all the things in nature are dark except where exposed by the light."

I turned to look at whose voice had spoken the words. There a man dressed in a suit stood with his hands dug deep in his pockets admiring the gloomy masterpiece that lay on display before us. His eyes dark with the smallest gleam of light.

"Well in this case, the light either refused to shine or was no where to be seen."

" I guess your right about that sweetheart. In most cases the light is eternally gone."

"And what gives you this inclination?"

"I guess you can say I know from personal experience."
