17 year old Frank sits at a table, strumming his guitar. His loser of a father comes home in a rage of yells, Frank promises himself he'll do something with his life in that moment.
6 years later and Frank is nothing and he has nothing, his life is going nowhere fast, until he dumps hot coffee all over one Gerard Way.
Gerard seemed to come from no where, Frank had never seen him around but his friends had. It was truly odd. Gerard seems to have an obsession with protecting Frank, that's even odder.

The author is no longer active and they are named Lightning Zap. This fic is amazing. I'm looking for someone to go through and fix the typographical formatting.~ Frank is an 18 year old virginal closet gay, who lives in a world of luxury. His parents are loaded, he's got friends in all the right places and he has girls begging to hang off his arms. None of his friends mind what Frank says or does, because he's Frank, he's known for being different. He's known for being a rebel. Frank goes straight from finishing high school, into a job in a CD store. He's forced into it by his father who wants to teach Frank that money doesn't grow on trees, and that not everything in life is handed to you. You actually have to work for things in life. With this new job, Frank meets Gerard, a flaming gay who happens to be his manager. Gerard is the most obnoxious guy that Frank has ever met, but at the same time, Frank wants him. When Frank expresses to Gerard that he wants him, instead of being shown the door, Gerard gives him a list of tasks to do. If all tasks are completed successfully by Frank, then Gerard will let himself fall in love with Frank. If the tasks aren't completed, then Frank can basically fuck off. Will Frank complete the list? Or will he fail and lose the prospect of true love? This is a smutty/fluffy Frerard. He's homeschooled as well, which means he only ever leaves to get groceries. For how little he leaves the house, and how closed off he is, it's quite a wonder how he met Frank. Frank is an extrovert and he kind of lacks boundaries when it comes to making friends. He's curious and speaks his mind constantly, which sometimes gets him into trouble. It must be good for something though, because not many people bother to figure out Gerard. Way sneered back, raising his eyebrows confrontationally and continuing to chew on the stirrer. She stared at him in disgust as Frank giggled, "It's true, he owns pink tools," he pointed out before she rolled her eyes and stomped away. "The color of the tools doesn't impede their ability to be tools- wait why are you digging around in the closet?" Gerard asked as he waved the stirrer around. "Why do you keep pink tools in the closet?" "Tools. I keep tools in the closet because where the fuck else am I going to keep them? Gerard claimed to be as straight as a crowbar (wait... that's straight right?) and totally didn't have the hots for Frank. For gods sake, Frank was his bandmate, one of his best friends! Imagine the crap dating him would start! But that didn't matter anyways, since Gerard was, as he kept on repeating (gosh you guys are thick), as straight as a fucking lightbulb. And you know what? It's a real proof of heterosexuality to want to kiss your friend fiercely onstage okay? So that's what he decided to do. And that's exactly where our story starts. Frank thought Gerard was fucking hot (no homo though) and kinda wanted to kiss him (no homo though) and like.. fuck him (NO HOMO THOUGH). Actually though, he was openly bi, but like, he didn't want to date Gerard, where are you getting this from? When Gerard mouth-attacked him that night onstage, might it make him admit something - something he should've realized a long time ago honestly?
