A strange-looking contraption is seen rapidly falling from the sky. Its descent was calculated and precise...until it wasn't. At the time of the bombs, twelve nations had operational space stations that they used to house survivors. Later, these twelve stations banded up and merged, becoming the one we now know as The Ark. For many years now, The Ark has kept what's left of humanity alive. But about a year ago, an engineer discovered a huge problem in the Ark's system. The Ark's life support systems are failing, and it won't be long before they run out of air and die. Hence, the current situation. These kids are being sent on a desperate mission to see if the ground is survivable again. But why kids though? Won't it be better to have the more capable scientists or guards be the ones to take this risk? The council had a lot of reasons, but the main one being: these kids were expendable, after all, they are criminals. --- This is a The 100 Fanfiction. The MC is a reincarnator. Yeah, I know. Through the years, she's only been called when she needs to rescue people that suffers from trauma after an attack/mission or if she needs to gain intel. Having more time to herself, she decided to become a daycare teacher during her copious amounts of free time. Suddenly, she is now a part of a secret mission to save a child seeing as she's a daycare teacher during the day and an underground hero at night. She didn't realize it yet that the child she helped save becomes one of the biggest part of her life. When she arrived at the meeting place however, she just can't seem to ignore the presence of a certain dark haired man who looks like in need of a much needed sleep. Ps.
