Too small for regular human eyes to detect unless they actually looked, the Konoha people have lived in the safety of nature, surviving in the forest. They have escaped all predators and are known as peaceful folk. And the average size of them is about three inches tall. 

Uzumaki Naruto, a rather strange Konohan because of his blonde hair, is ridiculed at school because of it. One day, he cannot take the teasing any longer and runs away, into a very harsh downpour. Soon afterwards, Naruto is cold, wet and wishing to go home. 

But then someone comes. The boy's name is Uchiha Sasuke, a Konohan who had been reported missing a few months ago. Seeing the blonde crying in the rain, he takes out an umbrella and offers to him. 

And this simple act of kindness will lead to a brilliant friendship.

He thinks nothing of them and carries on with his normal life.
