Kathleen "Kitty" Nicole Hudson had grown up all her life with siblings fighting, her mother stressed for her two jobs, and abandoment issues after her father ditched the family when she was younger. She refused to get close to people, terrified that she'd be left alone. The only person she'd ever completely trusted was Sienna, her ex-best-friend. Sienna spread a rumor--Kitty slept with a college boy--through the school half way through Sophomore year, leaving Kitty friendless, with only one true friend, her razor blade. The only that she digs into her hips every evening now that she doesn't have a reason to sneak out. 
But Junior year is about to start up, and she finds herself tangled up in this boy, Cody. There's only one catch.

Cody only likes girls who can play the guitar.
