A mask is a handy thing. A face reflects the mind, but a mask can be shaped as you please. You slap it on when how you feel can't be shown. It becomes a necessity, a part of you. It starts to stick the longer you wear it. It becomes your face. But what happens when that mask starts to break, and this time it can't be fixed.

Naruto has been meeting up with Sasori of the Akatsuki he has been persuaded to leave the village hidden in the leaves. He becomes a well known SS-rank rouge ninja known as Deaths Shadow. No one suspects it to be Naruto Uzumaki because after getting a curse mark from Orochimaru he wears a mask (like Hatake) because when the curse mark acts up it will cover up the lower left side of his face.
