Prologue/Description
Kaylynn is a sweet, innocent soon to be 16 year old who’s in love with her best friend. She is too afraid to tell him, fearing he doesn’t feel the same and it’ll ruin their friendship.
John is a kind, caring soon to be 17 year old who is in love with his best friend. He’s afraid he’s not good enough for her and that if he tells her it’ll ruin their friendship.
Kaylynn and John have been best friends since Kaylynn was born almost a year after John was born. Her birthday is July 2nd the year after his. His is July 14th the year before she was born. Their families have been close friends for as long as anyone in their small southern town can remember. As the end of the school year nears, as well as the end of the year party that they throw every year, their feelings have been growing. The results of one night will affect them for the rest of their lives.

I put on a show only for him in front of hundreds of people.
