The rain outside is  the only thing that keeps you calm whenever you have this nightmare, the rain pretty much calms you in every way...but sadly, it isn't enough to keep your body under the sense of "you're dreaming". 

The monsters aren't real....

The shadows aren't real...

The wounds aren't real...
