Division [l.p.]

Cedarville is a divided city.

First you have the Northern half of the city. We call them the North Siders. They're stuck up snobs that get everyhting they ask for. They look down on us as if they're better and it makes me sick.

Next you have my side of town, the Southern half. Unlike the North Siders, we barely have anything. We work for what we have. We hunt and fight on a regular basis. If you can't stick up for yourself, then you won't last five minutes.

The North and South Siders try to avoid each other as much as possible. We can't stand each other. In fact, the only time we ever see the other side is once a year at the Partnership Program.

The Partnership Program has been around as long as I can remember. Every year, all of the seventeen year olds take a test to find out who they will end up with for the rest of their lives. This year, it's my turn.
