The mystical beings did not actually tell them the way to change their fate but opened a rainbow multidimensional portal and all said the same thing, which is "FOLLOW ME IF YOU WANT TO CHANGE YOUR FATE," with a hand gesture signaling "follow me" towards the man they are individually with. These men did not hesitate but followed them through the portal with the mindset that they didn't have anything to lose by doing so, and they saw it as a chance of gaining salvation.
