Meet Cleo: she's your average fourteen year old girl. A little cute, perky, smart and tries to make people laugh and feel happy. But maybe she should stop trying, and just fit in with the crowd.

Not Nate though. He was born to stand out. He's the biggest playboy in the school, but every girl wants to have a shot with him. He's mysterious and good-looking; no-one knows where he came from and what he's really like. Nate can seduce a girl and use her, no problem, and he won't ever regret it, because his heart is made of ice.

Somewhere along the way, their paths cross. Strangely. Coincidentally. Like it was meant to be.

What happens when a warm heart beats alongside a frozen one? It'll have to melt, won't it?

Cleo thinks she can melt Nate's heart. But his heart has been torn and damaged, and has repaired itself somewhat by growing a layer of frost over itself, restraining anyone from venturing there, like a fence.

She knows there's goodness beyond that fence. She can see it in his eyes. But he's determined not to let her past. He's hiding something.

What if the fence is too high after all?
