Wakefield wasn't always a quiet and peaceful town. A hundred years ago most of its residences died from a vampire attack, well at least that's how the story goes. The history books say some people got a disease that sent them into cannibalism. Yeah right. It's the present day and Mercy Donald is struggling to find a reason for life while her friends party till dawn. A strange force has come to Wakefield and brought some interesting creatures with it, that aren't all good. When Mercy faces death she realizes that she's not some normal teenage girl and that her previous experience with death left her with extraordinary powers. Powers that come with a cost.
