In a world where people with strange ability's start to show up.
The human race no longer roam the earth, hiding away in shelters meant for the world now. The government hides away, looking through the shelters for the people that suddenly have these "ability's." By doing monthly blood test on the people, they comb out the ones with "ability's."
Mia these, or aka Container 53, is given the opportunity to escape and save the others in the same facility, the others who have the different "ability's" from each other but part of the shrinking family that they intent on saving from the government clutches. With the strange mutations of animals, they have to fight their way to their freedom, to their family.
Throughout the story you see Mia fulfill the goal of saving the last of her kind, possible romance, but the love of family, their "kind", grow stronger then any bond of romance can break. And throughout this story Mia find out what it is like to have a loving, caring family of her own kind.
