Monsters are real. They hunt you at night and they dream of consuming you during the day. You can’t hide from them, you can’t run fast enough and you can’t over power them. Loyalty is a foreign concept to them. Working for the highest bidder, monsters exist because no one has enough evidence to accuse them. You will never know what they are until it’s too late, until your blood is almost gone and your eyes are growing dark. Your blood is what energizes them and you are the one who unknowingly seeks them out. How do I know this? Because I am the monster.

You would probably think that this world is a dream come true, but what you forget is that nightmares are dreams too. When the dust settles after all that is said and done, the only thing left is blood and ash, and then the only thing left to do is scream. But when all that is left is blood and ash, when the kingdom falls, and the monsters wish they had never been born, what left is there to rule, when the war is won and lost what choices are left other than to run. When night no longer reflects the shadows of the worlds hidden, within the blue tinted veil is where the monsters hide, seeing all, but never seen. Within the blue tinted veil, the worlds divide, the secrets hide, and monsters? The monsters thrive. The worlds both have gods and monsters, but look nothing alike, bravery portrayed in unusual ways. The lion being a symbol of bravery, but which is braver? The lion who roars, or the mouse who roars back. The only thing known for certain is that people are going to die.
