Blood trickles from my heart,
From in my soul,
It's torn apart,
I've tried so hard,
I've fallen so far,
I strive to crawl back to the start,
But here I am,
still holding on,
I'm broken, battered, not very smart,
I've nearly given up & in,
But if I had how could I win?
I would not be here for you now,
to speak out truth & tear down shroud,
You'll find me here if you find me at all,
Still clinging to hope,
though it may be small.
