Growing up a lot of us never thought about the bad in life. We just enjoyed the moment we were living. And getting older we soon to realise what the world we were living in was actually about. It's scary isn't it? And to think the main problem was hate against the blacks of darker skinned. You thought that this was over- but it's just the beginning of a new world. A dangerous and scary world.

My mum always used to tell me what it's like to see your mate for the first time. She used to say that at that moment, everything around you stopped, that nothing else mattered. I learnt the hard way that wanting to be normal is just wishful thinking. More specifically when I found out who my dad really was. Then again, having a child while I was still a kid myself already sealed the deal on being anything but normal. But I was happy, for a moment.
