Life for 16 year old Rose has never been easy. Taken from her family at the age of 10 during one of the governments Special Selection years, she passes all tests they throw at her with perfection. The public of course doesn't know what their government trains the kids who pass the Selection do. No, they just think their children will grow up to be of importance to their great nation and bring their family the greatest of honors.
The people of the States don't really know what their children are becoming and if they had a choice to know the truth, they'd just ignore it because who wants to hear about their child being trained to kill people.
Rose is tough, independent, smart, and a deadly beauty. But can she learn to love herself as well as others when she just hates her life?
Will she survive her twisted life before deciding to just end it and join the people she's killed?
Or will she use her training to become an unstoppable force and finally set things right....
