Kate Parker is a carefree 16 (almost 17) year old. She leads a wild life back home in Ohio. However, all that changes when Kate is forced by her rich parents to visit her grandpa's farm in Tennessee. At first Kate finds his farm very small and dirty until she realizes there is more to life then just shopping and being popular. Then comes the love-story part. The mysterious and annoying 17 year old Brad Thorton. When Brad invites her on a exciting expedition, or 'date' if you will, Kate begins to realize that Brad is a deeply thoughtful and caring boy. Kate begins to realize that Brad may not be that annoying boy she thought he was.
