The Red Jewelers.

The year is 2413.

The world crashed 314 years ago, to be exact, October 18th 2119.
Nine years after the war began, the great city was built. They named the city "Hope."
Another fifty years passed before the legend of the seven red jewelers began, it started when the scarlet rock hit the earth just outside our city walls, a giant dent in the dirt still marks the place it fell.

People say that the first seven scavengers to touch the rock became the destined red jewelers, others say the rock split into seven jewels and flew to those who were worthy of its power... either way, after the seven were created the city built another wall, the seven and the wealthiest were protected and nourished within the inner wall, while the thieves and killers were left between them and the outer wall.

This is where I live, you may call me Ashes.
And yes I am a thief and a killer... and that's what I thought I would always be.
Boy was I wrong.
