I am republishing this for a friend who wanted to read a sample of my work. The plot is all over the place, but I know I'll revisit it in future. I initially wrote this in 2017 before I knew a lot of things I know now. There's a lot in here that is culturally insensitive. I have done my best to edit out what I could find at first glance, but if you see something glaringly offensive please make a comment about it so that I can correct my errors. The most egregious example that comes to mind is using the G-word for the Romani and relying on unflattering stereotypes. I plan to correct a lot of this in proceeding drafts. The second Titan war and the second giant war is over. Gaea is defeated. Peace has returned to the world. Everything is back to normal. Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades are bored to death. The big three has absolutely nothing to do, no demigods to send on heroic quests, no constant worrying over their enemies, blah blah blah. As days pass, the three gets into fights more often, causing floods and earthquakes and storms and the death of many, many innocent mortals. Hey, it's Percy again. I know what you're thinking: 'not another prophecy!' but luckily for you, this isn't about another quest. It's about mortals, demigods and sometimes gods meeting me and Annabeth. You may say that it will all go well, that we'll get along and eventually become friends, but that isn't the case. Spoiler Alert: some want to date me, others want to use Annabeth. There's only few who are our friends. But I'll warn you now: Some of these aren't pretty, and most end up having Annabeth having to beat the Hades out of boys who flirt with her. mortals meet demigods one shots
We all know the classic mortals meet demigods stories, and well, that's exactly what it is. One shot stories of mortals and (spoiler alert!) a couple of other demigods meeting our favorite hero's. I'm definitely not the best writer but this is fun to write. If I have any mistakes please tell me and I will try to fix them as best I can!
