Growing up, Lily always knew something wasn't quite right about her life. When she was really young, her parents showered her and her brother Zack with nothing but love. But she reached 13, and even though things were starting to go bad anyway, they got a little worse. Her parents acted so weirdly around her, and as she got older it got worse. She'd always wanted to know the real reason, but she never knew that finding out the truth would turn her world upside down.

But with the bad, there was also some good. She fell in love, like all girls do. Her best friend (and brother's future band mate) was the love of Lily's life - Jack Barakat. But her head got the better of her, and told her not to ruin the friendship they had. Just as thigs were slowly getting back on track again, Lil's world was shattered by the people she'd called her parents.

Several arguments later, and she's living with Kara and Lisa after the girls all graduate from high school. Although she's living with her best friends, she's not happy. Something's calling out to her, something she can't ignore. It's something she wants more than life itself.
