Footsteps of Abel's Sneakers

Abel Beddington, an 11 year old intellectual foster child, has awaited for a happy crime free New Year's Eve for a while now. After receiving shoes from an unlikely source, Abel is challenged again and again to protect his self respect and his shoes , the only two things that he has left to truly value.
His father , a French outlaw is still at large and his mother a Brazilian beauty old enough to be his sister, is no where to be found. His foster mother, Mammy the Sweet goes missing, leaving all of the foster children to fend for themselves. he finds out that his mom is closer than he thought and goes on the quest to search for her. Will Abel find his mother and a permanent home before the new year? Stay tuned.......
