In a strange world where the human race are outnumbered by every other race around them and danger constantly lurks, an orphaned boy who is at the bottom of the social ladder, lives a hard life in the outskirts of the Empire due to his non-ability in any Art.
Fate brings him face-to-face with an ancient enemy of the Jorans, caught in the middle of a massive invasion in a battle to save himself and his Realm. He finds himself with two options: Save a captured boy like himself or leave and watch a part of his Realm die in the hostile world? Or would he have to make the ultimate sacrifice?

"He likes your curves. Rightfully claims you as his... in his mind." Asher now speaks staring at the golden boy. I carefully peek through my lashes to find him still looking at me. "Are you jealous?" I dare to ask. He sits back at the wall staring at me. He runs his eyes down my body and slowly smirks. "Yes," "Good," I say digging my fork into the pasta. I then place the pasta into the carrots...
