An unexpected love story that is not like a love triangle, more like multiple geometric stories intertwined by fate. 
Carissa Marie Greene is an adopted 16 year old living with her foster " grandmother" and her beloved dog, Louis in the suburban area of New York City. She was abused by her once-loving mother in her past life and barely escaped with her life after a fatal night due to her mother's depression. As she fled, she vowed to herself that she would never truly love again, and she remained that way in her high school years, only surrounded by her three best friends, Honey, Emmaline, and Toby. But when she comes face-to-face with the boy who helped her, a sweet and mysterious new guy, the popular girl who was her sworn enemy for 5 years (who has it out for her), and her possible long-dead father, her so-called normal life is in for a rude awakening.
