After Sean Ryder's mothers suicide, Sean only has his father and doesn't want to get close to anyone. His father soon snaps at the sudden death of his wife and pins it all on his own son Sean, his father is soon put into a mental institute and Sean does everything he can to keep himself safe, but once he finally realizes what is going on, he has to find a way to stop it. He keeps away from everyone and doesn't want to make any friends for their own good, but that's until he meets a stubborn girl named Lacey Fields and she wants to try and help him through it, but the thing is she doesn't know what's really going on and is not aware of the danger she would be putting herself in. Sean does everything he can to keep her away and not to have anything to do with him. Can Sean do it? Can he make Lacey stay away and never hang around him? Or will Lacey ignore all of it and stay?
