Millicent Cerberus, a 19 year old girl who live's in a mental hospital after murdering her parents at 14 and believing in spirits and trying to reach out to them.
It says that she skinned her parents when they were asleep. Millicent says it wasn't her. She doesn't belive it was someone else, she belives it was someting else.
She sometimes sees her parents, she says. Her mom Isolde, and her dad Mortimer, weren't your ordinary kind of parents, they believed in spirits. And that made Millicent belive in them too.
What happens when Millicent meets Nathan. A 22 year old guy, who starts working at the mental hospital?
Will she fall in love with him, or will she hate him more than anything on this planet?

The first few months are terrible, and it only gets worse as he gets no word from Alex. No sign of him that could possibly give him some strength to go on. After more months, he loses his hope, killing everyone around as if that would make anything better. Nigel gets locked up in an asylum, declared for mentally unstable: charged for many, many murders. And since he doesn't ages, they keep him for experiments. Since they are very religious in there, they believe it's the Devil his son. After eight years, somehow Nigel keeps seeing this blonde-reddish boy visiting him. He tells him stories, being all cheeky and forces him to wait. The doctors around are trying anything to get that boy out of Nigel his mind, and when they don't succeed, they decide to use electroshock therapy for that. As Nigel threats to lose Alex, the connection between the two fades a lot. Alex has barely enough strength to stay around, and gets forced to find a body before he disappears forever. Strangely enough a patient passes by during Nigel his therapy. A suspicious girl that always wants to know everything that's going around. Since she is the only weak person of them all in a near distance, Alex gets into her body - being forced to share it with another soul. As soon as Nigel realizes that the girl isn't just somebody, and they can't get away from each other, there's only one option left. But what will happen? Will Alex get his body back?
