A young boy named Derian lives alone, his family is poor and he is a hired assassin to make his money. He is a standoffish, 21 year old who has little to no contact with any other people. His family take in a cat called Dakota, after realising they can't afford to feed it they force it on their son, unknowing that it isn't a normal cat.
