Brooklyn Grey, 18, was a simple girl from the suburbs of LA that struggled in living with both her drunk father and her always too busy mother, and dealing with her possessive boyfriend. She had always been dreaming about going to a nice college in Australia, which she knew it was basically on the other side of the world, but her parents wanted her to stay in that small town, stuck in her badly payed job at a local cafe. But she couldn't, it didn't feel right to come home every night to a drunk father who kept yelling nonsense things, or kissing some stranger who once she loved. So, she decided to do what seemed best in that particular time : run away. And that's when things started.

Luke Hemmings, 19, was in a band called 5 Seconds Of Summer that was trying to launch their career to new places other then Australia. His life was great at that moment, even though all his past was filled with horrible events and terrible memories. All he wanted was to escape that town that took everything and everyone he loved away from him. Even though he showed up to be this really reserved boy, always pushing people away, rude, and seeming to be careless when it came to other people's feelings', all he really wanted was someone who could save him from those awfull memories.
Will they ever save each other?
