After the second wizarding war many lives were lost, friends, family, love ones and Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry was left in ruins. Many wondered if Hogwarts would ever be the same.
Harry Potter did wonder if life could be happy despite all that's happened. Plagued daily with horrible nightmares of the past, Harry is constantly reminded of all the pain and death. But the nightmares get worse as he reluctantly returns with his friends Ron and Hermione to finish their seventh year.
But upon returning to Hogwarts Harry does the unthinkable, after given the opportunity to switch houses, Harry is resorted into Slytherin feeling he had changed. While Draco Malfoy is re sorted into Gryffindor. Harry and Draco have to adjust to their new lives, as Draco discovers he can look past all his mistakes and finds friendship with some unlikely Gryffindors. Harry on the other hand losses his best friend Ron, along with many others, except Hermione who out a few to stays by Harry's side.
Over time Harry and Hermione start forming a bond between each other, stronger then ever before, as Harry discovers reawakening feeling for his best friend. But as Harry's nightmares continue, getting worst by the day he will find he's changing more than he thought possible. Can Hermione save Harry from the darkness that still lies within him, or will she lose the real Harry forever.
