I didn't fall in love with a beast, walk on broken glass or meet seven little dwarfs while running from an evil queen. But, I did lose my mother at a young age and I do have a step-family; but no step-mother or evil step-sisters. Yes, I lost something but it wasn't a glass slipper. It was an autographed, Derek Jeter baseball, the only thing my father left behind after he passed. So no, I'm not a princess but this past month or so made me feel like one. Who would've guessed that the captain of my school's rival baseball team would take an interest me and search all of Estes Park, Colorado just to find me? Certainly not me. But then again, half of what's been happening to me lately couldn't have been guessed.
