People are given a "superpower" by unlocking the strongest part of the subconscious 
Usually, the power goes with their perfect job.
The chemical (a mixture of Alzheimer’s, Autism, and Manic Depressive meds, amongst other things) is administered at birth. The awesome part about this is that it can give people a sort of super power and such. Then there’s the actual use.  It’s literally a cure-all, using nanobots to fix up any problems and to keep the general population fairly docile by harming the anger and free will parts of the brain. 
One day, everything goes to Hell. Nearly everyone goes off their rocker and tries to kill other people, like they have gone feral or something.
Nathanael is one of the few left alive. Now he has to go off, survive, and help lead the human race. He didn't do much before. He’s 19, second year of college with a biology major when this begins. Video games are pretty much the extent of his social life. Maybe an occasional date, if you could call them that. Pessimistic, smart, no motivation, rock music lover, hasn't found his power thingie yet, if he has one. Thus far, he would be the only one not to. Even little kids have theirs, and this would make his life so much easier...

Enter outcast Vincent Schorennherr. Her parents [emphasis on her] parents wanted a boy, no luck on that account, and they let her know that every day. You think that's not so bad? Think again. "Sorry, Vincent, but you're going to school anyways, flu or no flu." Well, just before first period, a 'conveniently'-timed password-entry prompt pops on on her phone screen, right as she: 1) Presses the sensor, and 2): sneezes, spreading rhinoviruses all over herself and her phone. She wipes the phone off and goes to class,thinking nothing more of the incident until the next day, when she goes to turn it on and gets a kill screen: "Fatal Error 81-141. The flu's contagious, didn't you know that? Bye now, gone to play Caesar- Veni, vidi, vici and all that." With that, her phone blinks off, and within hours, other phones begin to follow suit. With panic on the rise, and global tensions rapidly following suit, can Vincent and her friends find the cure before it's hard shutdown? **NaNoWriMo 2017** Complete in the sense that I'll probably never write any more of this story. I might edit it someday, though. I had a decent idea when I started, but that quickly went out the window.

In a world where people can be born with a genetic mutation that gives them powers, surely you'd think everything would be like a comic book right? Well you'd be wrong. People born with this gene are called "Conduits", or Bio-terrorrists if your in the majority who hate them. Conduits are viewed as monsters who only bring evil to the world, and are captured by the "Department of Unified Protection" or "D.U.P" for short. The D.U.P takes these conduits to a prison known as Curden Cay Station and do God knows what to them. So you can imagine that finding out one day that you are one of these conduits would be an extremely bad situation to be in, and unfortunately for our freshly graduated main protagonist, he is about to find out just how dark this world can be. With the death of his lover at the hands of a conduit during their escape from the D.U.P, will our protagonist fall to his anger and seek vengeance for his lover's death? Or will he prevail and choose to be the better man in a world where the better people are at risk?

Guns are drawn daily, blood and paint mix with each other on the walls. To succeed you have to be a cutthroat, but not everyone wants to go down that road. So, Moses decided to pave his own road to lead many others down. He'll be damned if he doesn't succeed, and many will try to stop him. Many just as powerful as him, with bloodlust to match any monster. Follow Moses, The Jack Rabbit, on his journey to help the people of his city. Watch, when he kisses the very sky above them.

Without any leads or evidence of the militia group ever being there or not. He is ordered to find evidence against the Sons of Silence to force the MC to cooperate. After meeting and starting to fall for Tech, he just can't seem to make he follow that order. Is he going to betray Tech?

Those in the first stages of illness became ideal candidates to receive the neuroinhibitor. Having their feelings restrained and their memory altered, those who come of age are designated a life partner through a Selection process, thus preserving the humankind. A few decades after the trial had started, scientists had a major breakthrough. The nanites, which are highly chemically reactive organisms, are changing their bio-engineered purpose when dopamine levels are high. With a new generation of nanoids, stronger and smarter to fight the battle, the virus doesn't have a chance. Many attempts were made to create a man-made version of synthetic dopamine and each time the outcome was a disaster. Their goal is to create new generations, immune to the virus. These are called Purebloods, the offsprings of those who find pure love, the only cure to save them from a violent death. Running out of time, the Experiment entered in its final stages.
