Welcome to Magnolia, Louisiana, where the year is 2011, but it's more like 1921.
Meet Delilah: an African American girl who's words are raw, uncut, and blunt. She's not bitter, she's "mad as hell." She wants to do more, but can't where she lives, where racial ties are holding her down.
Meet Samson: Sports freak, not into the Klan like his father wants him to be. He's easy-going, blending in with the standard Magnolia white boy: straight A's in high school, football player/baseball player, ready to be initated in the Klan, and ready to take over Daddy's business as soon as he finishes college.
Delilah doesn't want anything to do with Samson. After all, his dad killed Delilah's dad and got away with it.
Samson doesn't want anything to do with Delilah. After all, she jeopardizes his once chance at being safe in this town, at being someone. He can't be with her... but he can't be without her.
Can these two work out the difference before it's too late? Before Delilah gets hurt by Samson's people? Or Samson gets hurt by her people?

A dead woman walking would make anyone do a double take. She never thought she would see him again. He never thought she could have survived. More questions left than answers Jada and Alessio must finally work together. Nothing was right in the world without Jada in it and now nothing was right with her in it either. Book Excerpt: "Where are you trying to take me? You snagged us up, but where are we going," She asked pointedly. "To my grandparent's home." "That's a terrible idea. We need a safe place to go, not somewhere so obvious." "My grandfather knows important people. Trust me, he's the safest place in Italy we could be." "No, I won't just blindly follow your lead. I won't risk my sons life on something like that." "And where would you go? How would you be any safer? If it wasn't for me, our son would be long gone. You have no resources. You have nothing. Somehow, I am the bad guy!" "Yes you're the fucking bad guy, you can't trip me into marriage and then putting me through hell as I tried my best to survive. You're the bad guy because I never agree to be with a criminal master mind or whatever you do. I have no idea. I don't know anything about you. I was cheated on and lied to just as much. Don't go blaming your hurt feelings all on me. You started this. You are the reason. I'm finally reacting to the way you treated me! I was delusional, scared, and confused. You isolated me from my people. I wasn't okay. I've been ripped from the life I knew!" [In Progress 4/19/24- ] Rankings #118 Man #44 deathandlife #5 lovetragedy
Death Is My BFFLAD (Book Two Original Series) by katrocks247
24 parts Complete
(Bfflad- Best friends for life and death) Dear Reader, Let's start at the beginning shall we? I died. Oh no, not one of these stories again where someone angelic and heroic saves the damsel in distress. If only I was that lucky. My heart stopped beating. My lungs stopped working, my soul began to lift away... And then I was saved by a beautiful man with a kind heart and sparkles sprinkled around his head in a golden halo. A cunning, dazzling smile etched his angled features and his hair lay perfectly on his head like...black, sinful layers of pure cynical distrusting evil. Evil that was just waiting to onset a innocent girl as myself and allow her a short amount of time of happiness, and then finish her off when she became older. I'll give you a hint. The beginning of that description was slightly exaggerated. The Angel of Death. One of the only creatures known that was capable of settling the boundaries of heaven on earth. The only creature capable of making one of the Devil's darkest deals to my loving mother; a second chance for her daughter. This comes with consequences of course. Everything you know about Death is wrong. Death is not natural, Death is not normal, Death is not doleful, and Death is far from mercenary. Death blends into the shadows like coal against the most atramentous sky. Death walks the earth with his cursed, monstrous and exotic features, his enticing voice and betraying alluring eyes. Death deceives, scratches, and plays with your mind, until you slowly and painfully loose your grip on reality. He'll make you believe he's a different person, that there's a sliver hope for him. Hope for you. Death is close. Surprisingly the original story of Dear White People. Nobody told me. Jasmine Hale is clear on her shortcomings. She's a put upon dark black woman. She doesn't speak up often enough. She might be racist. Join her as she explores the world of liberal politics and that of her own consciousness. This original book explored the subject of FORUM ADMINISTRATION, and was NOT released to the public beyond Wattpad at the time of the theater release of Dear White People due to concerns about responsibility. It was instead personally given to Brother Ali of Minneapolis Minnesota for test reading. Those concerns were for an editorial process; but all the allies went to watch the movie anyway. It was a good movie; and a bad outcome. I have reported all I have seen, except that I have a cousin by the Croziers named Joelle Robinson of Danville Kentucky, who posts on my birthday now that GOD is better to her than others. I have reported all that I have seen, except that the Alpha Kappa Alpha fraternity system that Joelle participates in is personally more interested in my activities than I can explain, being that I've been left destitute. I have reported all that I have seen. Except for this: https://www.instagram.com/p/CvFyF9UOy1h/ The entire book is available for sale at these retailers: https://books2read.com/u/mdlreW As for the forum administration, I do those here: https://lightandfirecomedy.proboards.com http://fmhart.freeforums.net https://tinyurl.com/NCV232737 https://tinyurl.com/clubmosaic

Instantly my face becomes straight in dead seriousness as I clear my throat."You shouldn't be seen with me anyways." Arching his beautiful eye brows you could tell he was generally confused, almost like he wasn't aware of the rules. "Why not?" Noah questioned. "Oh, come on don't pretend you don't notice I'm black!" "I'm fully aware that you're black, but that doesn't tell me why I can't be seen with you!" Sighing as I rolled my eyes I explain. "Certain folks around here don't take to kindly when our people mingle!" "Oookkkaaayyy-who cares what certian people around here thinks?" Shaking my head as I rolled my eyes once again, he just didn't get it."Look, I've seen what happens when certain people catches guys like you, talking to girls like me, I don't know you all that well, but no one deserves that type of beating." "I don't like being told who I can and can't be interested in." "Nobody does." In this love story Scarlett a black woman unintentionally goes against the social norms when she falls in love with Noah a white man in a town that is permanently stuck in the 1950's segregation in the south type era, only thing is, its not the 1950's, it 2018.
