Itˋs All In My Head

5 parts Ongoing

Jolene was an average girl. Some would say there was absolutely nothing special about her. Yes, she was smart, but thatˋs pretty much it. Her looks werenˋt special, neither was she significantly good in sports or music. She was simply Jo, and she was totally fine with it. With two close friends by her side, she just tried to get past this last year of high school with no drama or anything that could possibly draw too much attention to her. Ashton OˋConnor though, was the complete opposite. He was the king, the kind of son parents would dream about. Handsome, tall, just perfect. He had everything... almost everything. Ashton wanted one specific girl, but in order to get her, he needed to change and show her that heˋs not the spoiled asshole she thinks he is. So, Ashton started to befriend Jo again, trying to manipulate her to help him get his crush on his side. In Joˋs eyes, Ashton was the long-lost best friend she used to have a couple of years ago. In Ashtonˋs eyes, Jo was just the annoying little daughter of her motherˋs best friend, with whom he was forced to play as a child. Jo was not a nerd. She was not the quiet girl, neither was she popular. Joˋs just Jo, and slowly, this fact started to get to Ashton in ways he could have never imagined.
