I was sitting on my couch when I heard a clank. Was somebody climbing the fire escape? I got up and pushed back the curtain to my apartment window to see somebody's foot disappear up the next ladder, and past my window.

I opened my window and looked up. It was a male around his early twenties. What was he doing?

He stopped on the platform to my upstairs neighbor's window and tapped three times.

Bing bing bing.

The window opened and the man crawled inside I ducked into my window a little bit more and he surveyed to see if anyone saw him. Luckily he didn't see me as the platform blocked me out.

He closed the window, but I know for a fact that he isn't her boyfriend.

So what was he doing climbing to see her, up the Fire Escape?
