Prologue: Ash, ash, and more ash, that is all that is left of my home. As I look around for scraps of sentimental objects I find a picture of me, my father, mother, and my little sister Maggie. Tears cloud my vision as I stare longingly at the photograph before me. A deep feeling of desperation roots itself in my chest. The air entering my lungs seems to decrease by a large amount as I think about what happened only a little over an hour ago. The world I knew is being ripped apart piece by piece. My mother is gone and God only knows where the rest of my family could be. I break out of my trance with the need to find what's left of my family overpowering the feeling of hopelessness. Wiping my face clear of any leftover tears I look at what I use to call my home one last time and then depart heading towards the East. As I walk I Rid myself of all emotions temporarily, seeking retribution for the destruction of the Home I had once knew and held close to my heart.
