Princess Astraea is cursed with such beauty that no mortal hand can touch her.  The queen was horrified by her daughter's curse and did the unthinkable- she bribed the midwife to replace Astraea with a newborn male from a non-royal family.

Twenty-four years later, Prince Ceyx and Astraea meet, causing the world to change in unimaginable ways.  Questions are raised and prophecy is set into motion.  How can one fall in love when they are made of glass?
