In Vitadell, there once used to be a major battle called the Division War, which involved a series of warfare between the Pure and the Sinned. The Pure and the Sinned were the main division between society in Vitadell. There were more specific classes but the main two were the Pure, who lived in Region Four and up, one through three being Royals who lived in royal palaces. The Sinned resided in Region Five and below, who could only make it through Regions Four and up with permission from a Royal. The Division War separated the eight regions in half based on the Pure and the Sinned. A lot of the Pure died in the war by Crimsons who were a type of Sinned that were identified by red hair and had type O blood, which caused their blood to be taken as an advantage. That's a big reason that caused the war to begin. Even though, the majority who died were Crimsons, leaving whoever was left angered for vengeance.

Before anything could happen, the King of Vitadell banished all Sinned to the last four regions and therefore created the Upper and Lower Regions. Sure the Sinned could continue to do whatever bad things they did but it couldn't reach the the upper four Regions without the Sinned being able to enter and as stated before, only a Royal could make that happen. If they tried they would be blasted by a powerful force field at the entrance of Region 4. Especially Crimsons couldn't enter, who was the most feared and despised type of Sinned of all.
