When news comes to thirteen year old Steph that a rebel boy from her school who had been shipped off to some juvenile detention center's body is found, she doesn't think too much of it. But when she discovers the secrets he had been harboring in his secret notebook, she needs to investigate. But when she discovers something far beyond the world we know, the tables are turned, and Steph gets her former teacher involved, and whisks them far beyond the world know to mankind. But when her failed attempts to discover the boy's killer draw attention to her, she has too many secrets to cover up. Will Steph find the answers to her questions, or will she buckle under the pressure?
