1 out of every 6 American women has been the victim of an attempted or completed sexual assault in her lifetime. In 2012, 346,830 women were sexually assaulted. RAINN estimates that there were 17,342 pregnancies as a result of sexual assaults in 2012. Clementine was one of those 17, 342 women unlucky enough to get pregnant.
Clementine was supposed to experience the big city of New York. All she got to experience was a painful attack in an alley. She left and vowed to never come back. She's now back in North Carolina on her family's farm, and she wants to pretend nothing ever happened. How can she when she has a constant reminder under her shirt? Her parents and brothers are constantly hounding her to tell them the truth. Who is the father? When did it happen? What are you going to do? The only person she can talk to is the mysterious new worker Ezekiel who has secrets of his own. Clementine is constantly trying to hold it together. She keeps everything inside. She is trying to be a big girl. And big girls don't cry.

On November 2037, a pack of aggressive creatures were found in the underground of the City of Macon. It was called Zerglings. The one-meter-tall creature with complex optical structure, which allow them to see at night. They leap with their webbed feet and possess sickle limbs and sharp incisor teeth, used primarily for tearing into flesh. They keep increasing in number and the human civilization was started to falling down. Countless people died. Human are not capable to fight the Zergling. A few weeks went by, we learned that the Zergling were found in other places too around the world. Within 8 months, they took over the world. Survivors form communities. They defend their home against Zergling. Some communities survive, but some has to accept their tragic fate. Fourteen years later, the earth has become a bad place to live.
