Katrina and her four best friends; Rochelle, Ally, Tanisha, and Ellie were your average everyday teenagers to the naked eye. Nothing would prepare you for the horrific things each girl have to experience in their home lives. School was a safe space for the girls to escape the constant torment and internal conflicts each girl struggled with as soon as they left campus. The girls begin to lose hope, until suddenly, on a seemingly ordinary day, the group all receive acceptance letters to a school that they've never heard of. And there's a catch-- the school isn't in this dimension. This is book is written in Katrina's POV.

Fedora lovers and anime girl enjoyers often fantasize about how cool it would be if 2D girls were real. However, they rarely think of the consequences if one were to exist. Instead of delicious chips, he's instead given a gorgeous but also terrified high school girl who looks just like an anime character from a 2D world who was browsing the snack aisle at her local convivence store. In this story, I attempt to delve into what would happen if a Japanese 2D girl was introduced into the 21st century world we live in. How would one communicate to an anime girl without subtitles? How would a kid who's little more than a loser wage slave and does nothing productive have to change his lifestyle to accommodate his new roommate? Can you fall in love with a girl who is just as confused by 3D humans as you are by 2D humans? And can she fall in love with you despite being terrified of men? All these questions and more will be answered in this story.
The Way Between The Worlds
Three girls, in three different worlds. Yet they are all strangely connected. They are all haunted by a ghastly creature. NOTE: This story jumps between three different characters in a disorienting way, which I did intentionally (for a reason that I can't say without revealing spoilers). However, in hindsight, I realize that this might also be off-putting to some readers. If you are not dissuaded, you will begin to see a pattern to the transitions (and the reason for them), and I promise you that, by the end, everything will come together and make sense.
