Drowning Beneath The Waves
(Underwater Murder Series spin-off; Book 2 in the Family Ties Series) "Some days, I feel everything at once. Other days, I feel nothing at all. I don't know what's worse: drowning beneath the waves, or dying of thirst." At this point in her life, the above quote basically sums up Faye Mercer. A Mermaid for the Lonely
A mermaid named Sirène, whose job as a mermaid is to guide those who have died at sea to rest their souls and not be trapped. She typically finds sailors whose ships have sunk, and pirates and convoys alike. Her personality is one of seriousness, and she does not express herself by facial expressions very often. She does sung lovely tunes though, ones of the sea and winds, not ones meant to lure anyone to their doom. She seldom spends time with other merfolk and prefers to be on her own. She is however very curious of the various emotions humans possess and their intensity, since she does not feel these. One day, while Sirène was staying near Pointe de Pen Hir, a dangerous cliffside that plunges right into the ocean. Looking upwards by chance, she saw a human, a man, standing dangerously near the edge of the rocks. The wind blew harshly and she could only watch and wait as he toppled over the edge and feel towards the ocean. She saw no fight in him as he fell. ________________________________________________________________ This is a fantasy story with my mermaid OC that I started making back when I was in middle school. I've used her character to help me through tough times and I am revisiting her. I want to make sure I have a place to remember her story, and make it a happier one than before.Complete

The days pass quickly, but the excruciatingly long nights become even harder when the tides are at their highest and the air grows cold and thin. As the nights grow longer with the cold becoming an infectious presence, Baylea sets out on foot to hunt for food and gather what she can before the tides rise again. Crossing into unknown terrain and encountering more than what she has ever known, Baylea faces the unavoidable consequences of entering another's domain, which doesn't seem to worry her at first. An intense feeling that she has never felt before starts to blur the lines between right and wrong as Baylea voluntarily returns to the same spot to hunt whenever the tides recede. But when she is seen speaking with the Waterling, Baylea is forced to stay amongst the treetops for her safety and the safety of her kin.

Percy finds out about Nico's crush earlier than planned. And it's on neither of their terms. Until Percy gives him some good advice. Advice Nico takes to heart. But a demigod's life is never easy, and with a new prophecy and a new quest even darker forces are looming over the horizon, threatening to destroy the sunshine that Nico and another half-blood we all thought was gone have finally found. Placed during very beginning of Blood of Olympus/ between House of Hades and Blood of Olympus at the beginning. Then it switches to the end of Blood of Olympus. This is a solangelo story line. If you have not read Blood of Olympus, or do not ship solangelo, then I kindly ask you to reconsider your life choices. And then go do those things.
