Meet Kat, Ricky and Jacob. Three high school students who also happen to be best friends. It's June and summer is quickly approaching, and they've promised it'll be their best one yet. Unfortunately, it soon became impossible to follow their exact plans. As Alabama is hit with a hurricane, Jacob Klier takes it upon himself to chase the storm, at the same time trapping his two best friends in the camper van Kat had saved up for so long. Nothing could go wrong, and they'd remember this for the rest of their lives. And then, the hurricane changed direction.

Marissa Allen dreaded the idea of spending a few days camping with her family and their neighbor. She was a city girl, and the thought of being out in the wilderness, with no Wi-Fi or cell phone reception, terrified her. But her parents had insisted, and she had reluctantly agreed to come along. As soon as they arrived at the campsite, Marissa realized her mistake. They were cramped in a tiny RV, sharing it with the entire family and their neighbor. Marissa's parents were enthusiastic about the trip, but Marissa just couldn't shake the feeling of being stuck in the middle of nowhere. As the days went by, Marissa started to notice her neighbor's son, Jake. He was tall, handsome, and had a rugged look that Marissa found appealing. They started talking, and before she knew it, she found herself drawn to him. But she reminded herself that she wasn't the kind of girl who believed in love or romance.
