Okay so it is my freshman year at Clark View high school and I am so excited, but on the inside I am totally freaking out. I'm freaking out because all of my friends from middle school got completely different schedules than I did not even lunch. And the cruelest part of all this is that I got every class with the biggest player in the whole school, I swear there is not one girl this boy hasn't dated in this grade besides me of course. The corner of his mouth tilts upward slightly. I smile again. A smile!? A tiny one, but still. "Hm. So I got you to smile, that's progress, yeah? Can I get your name now?" "Breath." He orders. I start to breathe again and just blink at him. "Now go." He orders me again. I flinch involuntarily at his tone and jump back slightly. "Please don't let me walk home alone." I beg in a quiet voice, looking down at my feet. The next thing I see are his black combat boots right in front of my shoes. I look up into his eyes and he looks down into mine confusion written all over his face. "How come you aren't running yet?" He questions searching my eyes.
