I couldn't answer him. I didn't know what to say to him. I didn't think I could really say anything to him. I did not want to face the facts of what had happened, or the consequences I knew were soon to follow. I just wanted to avoid it all. Les Misérables: A Short & Slightly Sarcastic Summary
Let's be blunt: Les Misérables is 1460 pages long. It drags on about subjects that are, for the most part, irrelevant to the story for chapters at a time. The physical book is actually the size of a brick. Have you been roped into reading this monster of a book for a class? Do you wish you could read the brick, but don't have the time or mental capacity or perseverance to do so? Do you want to read only the interesting parts but don't want to bother going through the whole thing to find them? Are you a fan of the musical/movie and am interested in seeing just how long they could have made it? Well, you're in luck, because I'm going to do all of that for you! I am spending my entire summer reading all of Les Misérables for both personal satisfaction and a class, so why not help others while I do so? As I battle my way through the brick, I will be writing short and, most likely, slightly sarcastic summaries of each chapter. I will try my best to include the important and interesting parts while hopefully adding a bit of humor that SparkNotes won't give you. I will update regularly, as I calculated it out and have to read about 20 pages a day to be done by the end of the summer, and also am going to use this as an easy way to skim back over chapters once I actually need this for my class. She doesn't like hearing of fighting. She's the opposite of her sister Gabrielle. Gabrielle had her faults. She and Cosette had both had traumatic childhoods. Was she still getting over hers? Enjolras begins a revolution for the people. He wanted things to change for them. Why did he do it though? Courfeyrac was a young student revolutionary. He was in love though. Justice is Swift But Vengeance is Sweeter (A Judge Frollo Fanfiction)
Hello! If you know me I absolutely Victor Hugo's Hunchback of Notre Dame but believe the disney take that came out in 1996 did the book wrong in many ways. One being one of the biggest characters in the book, Claude Frollo. I don't hate the movie, just believe they portrayed him in a very vicious and bloodthirsty way, completely opposite to the book. But no matter, he's an amazing, deep, original character and I think he deserves some fanfic. So I've taken it upon myself to write a version of the movie all my own and if you've read my other story ("The Servant of Judge Frollo") then you'll know I've been busy. This one however is a little more twisted with new characters and a darker plot. It all starts when Judge Frollo is told the very last thing he wants to hear. He is getting help from a foreigner who has ties to the king named Nikolas to control the larger gypsy population. Frollo and Nikolas cannot stand each other but decided upon a plan to infiltrate the Court of Miracles and capture the gypsies once and for all! But will love and jealousy get in the way? Especially when Healia and Esmeralda get involved? A fanfic filled with hopeless love, lies and bitter truths I really hope you all will enjoy this new fanficion. Please read and review!!!
