Aren Harker wasn't sure on whether he would be okay with being reaped or not. No one wanted to, but if your name was drawn there was no option. He wasn't sure how his parents would react if their second child was reaped, just as their first had been. Aren's sister had been reaped 10 years prior, for the 58th games, and she didn't make it past the first 24 hours. He worried if his own name was drawn his fate would be similar. They made their decision that men were going to use her, and she was going to be tortured once every two months by being placed in a pool, and then it being electrified, to toughen her up for the years to come. Her main punishment, she was going to be placed in every Hunger Games, mutt or human, for the next twenty years. It is now the 74th annual Hunger Games, Lucinda has survived the past 6 Hunger Games. Now, her 7th has come, and she comes back as violent as ever. But when she finds the competition is high, she grows on three certain people.
