Strange Love

Kelly Rios was an unhappy camper. Her father was an alcoholic and her mother was too scared of him to do anything. But what makes it worse is that Kelly's father tries to hurt her and her little five year old brother, Tyler. Kelly has to move every time because her father is too lazy to pay the house rents, so she doesn't have many friends. She has none, actually. She is not allowed to have any friends or talk to anyone. Even the teachers. Because of that, she is known as "The Mute." But that all changes when she goes to Evergreen High.

Christopher Ryan Jr. is Evergreen High's nicest and best football player. He can get anyone he wants with just a snap of his fingers, but he doesn't. No one ignores him and everything goes his way, but he doesn't want it. But when a new girl known as "The Mute" ignores him, he can do nothing except be attracted to her. Chris' friends soon become friends with "The Mute" and soon does he. But he wants more.
