He doesn't expect to hit 40 let alone 80. He just walks by them. All other people ever do is gawk at him. He’s used to it now. He used to care what others thought, actually was really insecure because of it, but now he doesn't let the stares bother him. He walks into a bookstore and into the kid section, his little sister has been telling him to stop spoiling his niece but he can't help it. He loves brightening her day. She goes from sad and sick to light and happy. He grabs the latest book in a series he knew she was reading and walked to the checkout. The clerk took one look at me and dragged another girl to check me out while she went to the back. It happened nearly everytime he went to checkout at a store.
