The downward spiral of 16 year old Elliot Eller's life STARTS when his crush/bestfriend, Risa, kills herself with a gun given to her by his other best friend, Bradley. Risa's mom gives Elliot her journal. The more he reads, the more his life is propelled further into the pit, yet he can't stop reading.
