Chloe Maine has never experienced love. Her parents weren't in love because her father was an alcoholic and abused Chloe. Because of her father her life went down the drain. She fell into a deep depression and started cutting. When Chloe was 13 she got her father out of her life because her mother, two brothers and sister moved to the UK to get away from him. That made her stop cutting but she was still depressed because she missed her friends and family. A couple bad things came out of that move for Chloe. She was raped when she was 14 and got pregnant with her now 5 year old daughter, Reagan Maine. She never trusted a guy again till she was 17. She let a guy break down her walls and she trusted him. After three months her trust and love for him turned into hate. He abused her and made her feel like a worthless piece of shit. Now Chloe is 19 years old and hasn't had a boyfriend since. Her walls are very hard to break down and her focus is on her daughter and not guys. She doesn't want another relationship. But one day she meets a guy, Niall Horan.
